I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to transform homes around Southeast Iowa for the last decade. My passion for design ignited in the 8th grade, and did not stop there. This eventually led me to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Illinois Institute of Art in Schaumburg.
My career began in the suburbs of Chicago and then Atlanta, where I honed my skills working for various kitchen and bath companies. Eventually, I brought my expertise back to my roots in Iowa. Driven by a desire to create unique and timeless spaces, I founded my business in downtown Burlington, welcoming the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse array of vendors, local flooring and cabinet companies, and reputable contractors.
In addition to interior design, I’m also a passionate artist who loves capturing cherished memories through custom charcoal and watercolor artwork, which adds a personal touch to the living spaces of my clients. My dual expertise in art and design allows me to provide a comprehensive service that resonates with homeowners seeking personalized solutions.
The sudden loss of my grandmother, a respected local oil painter, in 2018 deeply influenced my outlook on life and fueled my determination to pursue my dream with renewed vigor. This personal journey has taught me that failure is simply a stepping stone to success, encouraging me to take the leap into entrepreneurship. In the words of my grandmother...

Since opening my business in April 2021, I have expanded my network of local partnerships and had the opportunity build lasting relationships with my clients. As a Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer, I take great pride in delivering quality and customer satisfaction, ensuring every project is a collaborative effort tailored to each client’s unique tastes and needs.

Jerilyn is so easy to work with! She has wonderful ideas and takes all of your own ideas and creates something beautiful and timeless. She is always quick to return calls and or emails. We recently remodeled our kitchen, which had been a dream of mine for many years, she brought my ideas to life by being able to view it in 3D and it really helped me to visualize how it would look in person. She guided me effortlessly and sent me in all the right directions from picking out natural stone, to faucets, hardware and appliances. Jerilyn was a tremendous help with our bathroom remodel. She had some great ideas on how to make the most of the space. She also helped me pick out everything from the tile to the fixtures. She’s a one-stop shop for the entire design process. She helped order some of the supplies and had them shipped right to us. She was very helpful the entire time. Then when the scope of work greatly increased she had no problem listening to our ideas and wishes. She quickly made the necessary changes while keeping the budget in mind. We had the pleasure of working with Jerilyn on a new home build. She was incredible to work with. She created beautiful design concepts for our kitchen, bathrooms, pantry area and mudroom. Amazingly, she came up with concepts that my husband and I both agreed on. She was the tiebreaker a couple of times and I'm glad we went with her suggestions! Just gorgeous. Our home looks stunning because of Jerilyn. I give her all the credit! She got us to step outside our comfort zone too. She's professional, responds quickly, and worked so wonderfully with our builder. I can't say enough good things about our time spent with her.

We worked with Jerilyn on our kitchen remodel and she was wonderful! Throughout the process she was there to answer any questions we had. We worked with Jerilyn on the design of our kitchen and ordered our cabinets, tile, quartz countertops, lighting, and stools through her.
